In all my 15 years i still have not managed to go to Pyrgros on this special evening "GOOD FRIDAY /MEGALI PARASKEVI" .Although i have been told it is the best place on the island when all of the villagers light up all the village in lights and candles creating from the foot of the village to the top a glow of how special tonight is ,and is worth every moment to walk in the church procession to the tip of pyrgros Oia unfortunately this year i won't be on the island to see although it is a smaller procession but it brings all of the , together it is lovely to see the meaning of why we celebrate easter .My only words i can say here isΚΑΛΗ ΑΝΑΣΤΑΣΗ ΚΑΙ ΚΑΛΟ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΟ ΠΑΣΧΑ / HAPPY GREEK EASTER |
