Elisa a young local person from oia who opened this shop with the help of her lovely parents behind her in guidance 3 years ago has shown with long hours and determination in knowing what she had in mind has created a shop comprising of her father's frescoes  sand painting and mosaics themes on the walls inside. Also her aunt's handmade pieces of jewelry using lovely gemstones can be found when you browse at the windows or displays within.

You will also find several greek artist work in the 
front of the shop and several lovely works of art mounted on the walls or shelves that are ideal for taking away. If you are worried about the transferring safely to your family home or as gifts to give of your memories of Oia Santorini

Summer is here and there are going to be lots of time spent outdoors on our balconies and gardens where it is lovely and relaxing to see artwork displayed on walls or trees.

The fine detail shop is centered in the middle of  the main shopping street of oia selling greek craftsmanship in ceramics pieces , fine hammered  crafting on metal , colourful mosaics pictures and handmade jewelry from gemstones  .

   

The simple and soft sculpting using the tapping technique on metal is displayed on the walls and under soft lighting  would add  a lovely theme to anyones house of memories of greek art and their visit to Santorini.

 

 If like a lot of us now we want  not only display our ceramics but to be able to use them on a daily basis then these bright colourful cups and saucers or teapots will bring joy and start a day with a glow of sunshine .

 Passed by yesterday the shop to see what was new in for this 
summer. It was hard to pick items to show, and there was  lovely atmosphere when two ladies followed by the husband who went straight to a chair and sat down with delight as he gave his opinion on his likes and dislikes to the point i also became involved in giving my likes and dislikes .

 Now summer has arrived and we can enjoy wearing those summer accessories  then Maria's "Miaoy shop" has a great selection of summer sandals and what we all love ladies the throw on tops or dresses (you know what i mean :) )..But on a hot day great for the beach ,or strolling around the shops when escaping from the sun for a while .   

And for the men you can find the sun hats or more for the hot days to just sit on the beach,driving around in an open hatchback car or by the pool while reading the paper chilling over that ice cold drink .There are more items inside but take my word the welcoming  smiles when you walk in starts off a great shopping trip .

The most famous square in oia and on your right just before the steps leading down to the bus station you will find Epilekton famous for it's friendly service and a shop full of gifts for giving to family and friends this greek easter .

From the decorative candles which are  light on good friday when the church is put in darkness and the light of the newly blessed flame is shared to the community it will be a delightful candle to share the special flame .

Tasso also has so many small gifts for all ages to those special presents

How i loved high heeled shoes in my heyday as a 20 year old i had a colour for every outfit and it was great to change mood with the colour i wore .

Funny how shoes can make a big finish to what you wear ,your hair can be terrible but if your shoes don't match then you have a big problem .Ladies how many of you have been during the summer days on holidays in your flip-flops, sports shoes or bear feet during the hot days but come to the evening ready to go out and enjoy a lovely evening wining and dining in beauty and been so relaxed you wish you could shout out look at my shoes well no need people will see them and either ask you where you bought them or admire with the same joy you have in wearing them .

Maria it is amazing how things look hanging on a clothes rail. But once you try them on the colour can make you feel different .So for that reason it is lovely when going into your shop your energy and eagerness to say " Lets play with clothes" and in the end people walk out feeling great at their experience and remember when wearing the item of clothing they  have bought in your shop .
