On the island I can find sculptures in some very good shops waiting to be bought by someone who loves art.In the spring of this year I was very surprised to find hidden in https://www.facebook.com/pages/Melinas-Tavern/139795929539782?fref=ts
 a small gallery of Nikos Katris his pieces of work drew me  to the simplicity but striking, and when he describes in a very shy manner the meaning behind each piece it left me feeling part of a reason why here on Santorini there are hidden gifts just waiting to be shown to visitors to the island .

The beauty and simplicity of Santorini never exhausts me Time has passed and here are some of my time of life.

 Time has passed me so quickly this summer and realized I haven't written anything on my blog. To explain this takes time and a lot of writing that might bore people But it has been a learning experience everyday of the enjoyment and love of Santorini that has me up early in the morning to going to sleep late in the evenings.

 My tours have been of great help in finding out more and more about Santorini and it's lifestyle and people ,meeting new and old friends some just by chance when walking a long the walkways or asking them questions of their lives here when they were young. It has been the best gift for me that they enjoyed sharing them  and I thank them for taking and  giving me that special time .

 This summer has been hot and I have never sweated so much in my life,but now it seems to be cooling to a normal temperature for this time of year to the joy of visitors and people here working and living here .

My tours have changed because I have found that people like to be flexible due to members on the tour becoming tired or prefer to see and do the tour in a different style which gives me joy in doing so as in the end we will all be happy and having a great day in feeling part of Santorini .I even now say there is never one tour the same in how I show or describe it's beauty or lifestyle as in life nothing is written on paper and moods and feelings of that time can be different but the love of Santorini for me never changes .

Thank you to all who make living and enjoying an island a big part of my life as an Irish person feeling so at home here and never feeling a lone at any time.
